When you live in the Northeast you must be prepared for winter.
These last few years winter has been docile and domesticated.. It has creeped upon us in a lazy fashion, bringing gradual cold and not sticking around all that long.. I only remember 1 truly bad week last year.. It was harsh and had me near tears.
Obviously one must think about how to keep their home warm.
I know many people use other methods of home heating such as electric and/or propane/natural gas.
We use wood and oil so that is where my focus will lie.

WOOD

We have 2 methods of heating that utilize wood.
Our second method of wood heat is our 1910 Pittston wood cookstove.
