Indian Fry Bread Meat Pies -
Pie fillings include :
Fried Potatoes
Brown beans / pinto
Shredded cheese
Taco meat
Brown beans / pinto

After mixing flour mixture for fried
bread...have a bread laid out and place fillers on top...make another fry bread
layer then lay over TOP of filling and gather all fry bread edges together
....place in LARD / Oil filled deep skillet that is medium hot and ready to
deep fry... let pie brown and carefully flip over and let other side brown.
Serve as is or with other toppings,
sour cream , salsa etc .

FRY BREAD:
3 cups self -rising flour
1 teaspoon salt
1.2 cup instant milk
1 cup hot water
4 cups lard / oil for frying, or as needed

mix in bowl using hot water , have a
floured area laid out for breads...take one good spoonful and roll in your
flour mixture till well texture...flatten out , add filling on top and layer
with another bread layer ..gather all sides and carefully pick up and place in
skillet to deep fry .
Brown each side , take of of skillet
with spatula on paper towel .. Let cool, slice and serve YUMMY
